About the Congress

The Patient Safety Congress is the premier patient safety event in the UK. Over 1000 committed practitioners and managers will gather in Birmingham to share exceptional practice and innovation in May 2010.

Whatever you role the Patient Safety Congress will help you overcome your current challenges:

Sustaining progress to date
With expected financial pressures on the sector this year’s Congress will not just help you drive improvement but also focus on how to ensure financial sustainability of patient safety within your organisation. Once again, we will bring together experts, from the UK and beyond, to cover all aspects of patient safety and showcase innovative case studies where people have succeeded in improving the quality of care they deliver.

  • Determine which patient safety initiatives are cost effective and which aren’t
  • Discover what every board should know and how to make them ambassadors of patient safety

Innovating existing practice

The aim of the Patient Safety Congress is to raise the profile of patient safety and drive improvement on the ground through the dissemination of best practice and policy. As one of the biggest patient safety events in the world, the Congress brings you the most forward thinking and innovative best practice to help you tackle one of the biggest challenges within the NHS.
